Azure Dreamland is such a region It is located in the middle of the Bountiful Continent, with close proximity to the Bountiful Freeway, a superhighway that transports you east to west. The region is sub tropical, with both spruce trees and palms. This is a low lag residential area with lush plantings and signature bountiful docks that are opened to all. But as it stands , almost all the parcels here (sized 5000-10,000 meters) are waterfront anyway. We have just completed and rolled out four new parcels in Azure, one of them is most of an island.

Current homes in the area tend towards modern with luxurious layouts and lots of hardscaping This is a true paradise as all water is navigable throughout the continent, sail everywhere, even to the Florida Keys and Mariner’s Bay.

Azure Dreamland is for residents and hypergridders and was just listed on opensimworld. Get a parcel before they are gone!

So much building is going on in the continent, it is hard to take a breath but a breath we will take, while we share what is happening.

The pretty scene is just a piece of Silverbell, our flagship continent region. Pretty, flat free parcels of over 11,000 meters are available to all Neverworld Residents with a very cushy 5000 prim limit—enough for a very large home or mansion and yard. Many parcels are waterfront, and as all our regions are connected by water also, you can build a dock and a yacht to add to your lux virtual life.

If you travel northwards, you will soon come to a dark and rubbly castle wall. This is the “wall” to separate us from the mundane normal VR to something that takes on fantasy vibes. In different ways. If you peek over the wall what will you see?

A short walk up the cobblestones will bring you to Thundersnow. What is Thundersnow you ask?

Well, frankly, don’t go out at night, or, during a thunderstorm (which seems to happen around this dark castle in the Northern parts a lot.. or … always)

It was kind of fun flying here and waiting to get a lightning strike. I think I managed to get a piece of it, but you must come here for the full large droplet cloud and lightning effect. Oh, and there are people here , or some creatures, lots of them, wandering around, and they seem to be flushed with … a recent meal? Not sure, but I hear you can shoot them with the proper weapons.

And then you wander over to Turbulent Deep, where it seems rather misty, and magical and suddenly, the sky is not longer raining either but there is an ethereal fog that seems to gently change color .. and there are toadstools, too :).

Welcome to Skybird Airport in the region of Dogwood.

As a continent resident you are free to use the airport to land and take off from. We will have some smaller satellite runways in other spots of the continent.

Be careful going over the bridge, it is rotting away as the metal parts are rusted and we assure you no upkeep done for at least a hundred years or more. Enter Concord, where you will see some familiar post-apocalyptic places from your favorite after-the-bomb settlements. No irradiated creatures yet, but they are coming. Watch out driving around here as the roads are strewed with years of rubble and debris and burnt-out bits.

This whole area is drive-able, boat-able, or flyable and certainly teleport-able.

Or walkable if you care to.

This whole area is being surrounded by very good busy shopping areas and clubs.

Note on the post: Bountiful Continent is every growing and improving. Turbulent Deep no longer exists as it was replaces with Lumshire and Westfarthing. Thundersnow has been redone and is more spooky and interactive than ever. Well worth a look-see.

Located in Neverworld, Requiem is a Halloween hunt sim that can be played by our members.

Look through the brush, the catacombs, the castle, the house, and don’t forget to look at the graveyard as well. The coins have skulls on them and range in value from 1 skull coin to 10 skull coins. The leaderboard near Jack Skellington shows your daily collected. You can redeem coins for hunt gifts in the Redemption Center.

Jack greets you when you land. As does Sally, but admittingly, Jack is dancing so how fun is that?Sort of reminds me of the book Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil… there are several seraph-type figures lurking the grounds.

It is worth a look in the dusty, cobwebby haunted house on the grounds.

I have found a skull coin! And it is a good one!

I will admit, finding coins is a bit hard. There is a TON of brush, and the coins are fairly similar in color to the surrounding autumn-colored landscaping. So if you like a challenge, here you have found it.

You will receive a happy message when you capture a coin! It will also give you your current balance. Or use the handy counter at the start of the sim.

The Redemption Center lets you cash in your skull coins for gifts. There are portals to TP to the redemption center by Jack.

Along the rocky edges you will find the ruins of a beautiful castle, now crumbling, but still grand I believe you can safely cross the ravine on the castle bridge still…

you must also search for coins in the catacombs.

I warn you — you will get lost. There are many turns and some dearly departed underground. I think there is even a dance club there somewhere… imagine that. Seriously, if you click on the statue at the sim start, you can teleport to the club. Yes, there is a club in the catacombs! We need a masquerade party!!

Our hunt sim was lovingly made by the very talented late Pasha Theas, Nexus Storm, Andron Rae and scripted by Locked Semaphore. In memory of Pasha Theas, we present the sim once again for the Halloween season.

So during this hectic season, we decided to bring some Zen, some peace, and some beauty. Nestled in the eastern part of the Bountiful Continent is the region of Mishio, proudly created and managed by our beautiful Nami Kyoto. She even has her face on the region logo.

What makes this region special? It is so peaceful. Even though it is close to some major urban areas there is a beauty and a stillness here. The minute you take the bridge over from the very urban Advantis, you know that this is where you can unwind, do a bit of decorating and gardening, watch sunsets, and dream of Japan.

There is a sweet little village of houses (some you can make copies of) and other items.

You will see, in the landing area, a billboard sign “Travel Neverworld”. Click on this to have a menu of popular places brought up. Most people like to fill their inventories, so click on All Free Shop and you will be teleported to the most popular shopping centers in the metaverse.

If you still need direction, you will find Teleport Island conveniently located near Welcome, and there is a more comprehensive assortment of teleports there. Take landmarks! We are vast…

As All Free Shopping is a big outdoor mall, with dozens of buildings you may do well to click on the teleport pad to show you the different areas.

New clothes? New hair? Buildings? Vehicles? Accessories? New avatar? Clickie on the pad and takes you to the store. Our stores are very well organized and easy to pack your shopping bag with plenty of freebies.

Shopping is not your cup of tea but you would like to take a drive, or explore? On the Welcome region find a large interactive map of our Bountiful Continent The map shows you the regions and click on any to be teleported directly there. Silverbell starts your adventure on our continent. Our continent is about 80 regions of 2×2 size with many other feeder and attached regions including The Keys.

Looking for a parcel? Look for these rural mailboxes, they are self-serve… Click on the mailbox to claim the parcel. The parcel goes in your name so you can change the name of the parcel, and the 5000 prim limit means you never have to stress about having it all. (For residents, half of that for hypergridders) Please read the notecard you receive, some areas are themed and require you to stay loosely in the theme. We do ask you to build something within three days on ground level, sky level is okay above 800 meters. No ban lines, please.

If you like our road system, grab a car here at the parking lot and try our roads. We have overpasses, a thruway, many bridges, pathways, cobblestones, and many many side roads. It’s fun and realistic.

Back at welcome, we have many huts as we mentioned. If you like to get landmarks, you can go into any of these huts to find interesting landmarks to save for exploration at your leisure.

An even easier way is to use our inworld destination guide, where different categories can be found. Click on the one of your interest to get pictures, descriptions, and direct teleports.

We have some new fae/elven/dwarfish members as well as actual people who are creating magical places to live and enjoy in new regions. We also extend a warm welcome to the many residents who have come to enjoy the quiet and solitude of Neverworld in many of the voluptuous free rental parcels where they can enjoy waterfront places to build their dream parcel.. absolutely for free. All it takes is time.

Recently the region Luster, our Romance region was reworked by Alba and Govega, and we have a wedding venue with many temples and places of worship to have your wedding, as well as a formal shop, and an adults-only shop with new items. And there are some encounter rooms and a beautiful formal ballroom in a French Rivera-styled sim.We are working on a brand new sim that reminds us of a very popular sci-fi movie from 1990 that involves… Arnold, mutants, and a red planet. Did we give it away? When it is done, you are sure to be transported back to the future in a place that could have been a dream? Is it a dream? Kiss me before you wake up!

We have recently had a new builders challenge, “Build a Lighthouse” The requirement was that the build be livable and enterable… Congratulations to Linwe and Roffellos, our challenge winners. More challenges soon so we will keep you posted.

Our marketplace is still being filled. All items are accessible for Neverworld members with many free items. The Hypergrid Shop is a marketplace page just for off-world avatars to use also. The marketplace items will be delivered as a zip file, for you to upload your avatar. If scripts are needed they are provided. A highlight: we have some rigged mesh clothing in the marketplace, which you can upload with the rigging. If you have items to sell or to give away and would like to be part of the marketplace, please contact Govega Sachertorte to set up.

We are still looking for DJs to host events on the grid. We have at least 30 available clubs that are event-ready. Please let us know if this is something you will be interested in.

Although many of my friends and family see my Facebook posts and know I run a virtual metaverse, most do not know what it is. Even though the virtual software for OpenSim has been around for about 15 years or so, many have not gotten there yet.

A few years ago Manasha and Keelin Garcia started thinking about how to best archive the legacy of Jerry Garcia, their late husband and father respectively. They envisioned a virtual meeting place for people to meet, view his works, and perhaps even chat about him together. Their vision was to make this a place everyone could visit at their leisure. It was to be beautiful encompassing many of the garden aspects Jerry loved. Fast forward to 2022 when we began talking together about making this happen the metaverse. We formed a team, and I enlisted the help of my many brilliant creators on Neverworld. Our task was cast, and the museum and the Art Garden was created.

And finally, on 6/7/2,3 we had the inaugural opening of the JGAM, attended by the Hypergrid safari tour group and Thirza Ember.

After the speech, we watched the official ribbon-cutting ceremony (an appropriate tie die ribbon of course) and the museum was finally opened. Thriza covered the actual contents of the museum and the attendees in her excellent blog of the event. Below was a very beautiful and interesting safaritour… I love the quirky and individual avatars they have. In virtual worlds, you can be anyone.

After perusing the amazing body of artworks in the museum, visitors strolled the pathways of the Art Garden to discover more of Jerry’s landscape art tucked away amongst the flora. As people exited the museum, many were thanking Jerry out loud for his art and his music.

And then we were invited to Moonglow the adjoining concert sim. The stage was created by Nexus Storm and much of the scripting was done by Ares Halostar. In creating this region, we did our best to evoke the feeling ofopen-air air concert venue … filled with balloons, sparkly things, dancing pe,ople and in the background, a carnival filled with rides, ftie-dye dye wearables and accessories, and a little pool of sea turtles.

There was much to do in Moonglow, for those who didn’t get a chance to see, you can take your picture in front of the L O V E sign.. and give a big blast of PEACE to all who see. That’s me, Govega

Our line dancers had a great time in front of the particle rainbow ! Behind the rainbow the train was putting along. I did hear some took rides around the sim on the train.

A highlight of the event was a balloon drop with wearable gifties made by Keelin Garcia and Nexus Storm. Stay tuned for more livestream events!

Our new sim is a 2×2 varreregion and was made with the loving and talented help of Nexus Storm, mr smokes, Govega Sachertorte, and Ares Halostar. We love our builders

When you land on the sea floor, you will be greeted by swimming turtles, waving kelp grass, and many areas to explore.. Aqua Abyss was once an Atlantean-like city that has since partially sunk into the ocean. However, they have a relationship with humans. Therefore out of the ruins, some steps from undersea to terra firma were created, and now merfolk as well as humans traverse the sparkling depths and the islands of Aqua Abyss interchangeably.

As always new sims produce the inspiration to create new things. You will find some original items here including some of the coral life on the floors and the sides of Aqua Abyss. Amazing infrastructure done by mr smokes and Nexus including the beautiful crumbling builds of the sunken city with some great places for a mermaid or merman to live and hide in.

Fancy a little Mer-themed music? Come to our events at Club Abyss and dance with merfolk or just dance as a human in this beautiful club under the pyramid. The club has glass above it and glass for the floor, so no you will not fall into the water but the splashing aqua will soothe any soul.

The club can be reached by foot or fin .. there are steps leading to it. Behind are shopping huts with mermaid-themed goods. Also in the shops are nautical items for home and water including a selection of lighthouses to decorate your parcel.

Aqua Abyss is an amazing place to take photographs so if you like underwater-themed places, it is here to explore.

Are not a Neverworlder yet? Being a Neverworlder is the place to be in the functional metaverse. We are adults who enjoy building together in themes. This is a must-see sim, the center is a perfect example of a quiet day on Bourbon Street, if there is such a thing. Wander along the center of town to find a ghost hunter store, voodoo shop, lounge, and a bordello among the shops in the area. You may even find some wandering moldy ghosts following you around…

If you travel down the scented streets you will be greeted by some beautiful roomy homes you can live in. (Free of course even if you don’t call Neverworld your home — yet).

These spacious homes are already landscaped and ready for your furniture and final touches. It is good to know that even though you live in an almost rural setting. You can hop on your vehicle and travel anywhere on the continent via the road system or even by water. The continent is a community of people who have come together to live, with vast amounts of free parcels and mixed-use areas including the amazing shopping sim All Free as well as farms, art galleries, clubs, and gardens.

Fancy yourself living here? Imagine building a secret garden, with brick and moss walls and arbors, with creeping ivy and the air filled with the scent of wisteria. In addition to the beautiful cobbled streets, you will also find public gardens and the church with its churchyard with some of its past residents who repose in the balmy air. And you will also see the somewhat rusty but still serviceable trolley about town also.
